I consult some doctors, used some medications, but they didn’t suit me, and blackheads started appearing on my face. That was another problem I caught into.

I am still using those masks and DIY for glowing skin, and because of them, my skin is getting bright day by day. That’s the reason I love nature and natural products.

If your skin is not healthy internally, whatever you applied will not give any benefit. So taking care of the skin as an organ will help you a lot in getting glowing skin.

The epidermis is the top layer of skin that we direct access to. That’s why you must support it and treat it well. It acts as a barrier that blocks harm and also protects yours inside from outside.

Wash Your Face
Wash your face before going to bed each night. No matter how tired your face, hit your pillow with a clean look. Don’t let the toxins and dirt of all-day transfer to your pillowcase because you are going to press your face into it for 7-9 hours.
Exfoliate Your Skin
Exfoliation will remove dead skin cells from the top layer of your skin. And this helps new, fresh cells to grow in their place.
How To Do Exfoliation
Use pure honey and gently scrub your clean face with it. After cleansing, wash your face with warm water.
- If you have oily skin, then exfoliate your skin up to 5 times a week.
- If you have sensitive skin, then exfoliate 1-2 times a week.
- If your skin is normal to combination skin, then exfoliating for up to 3 times a week is enough.
Stop doing the following thing as it can hurt your epidermis.
Don’t Use Basic Cleansers
There is a lipid layer that helps your skin to hold moisture and thus helps in looking youthful, but using basic soaps and cleansers daily can damage this lipid layer. That’s why to use those soaps and cleansers that are slightly acidic in nature.
Your dermis is the most essential thing that plays a vital role in keeping your skin radiant and flawless consequently, you should pay proper attention to it if you want glowing skin.
Collagen & Elastin
Collagen and elastin are little-known proteins present in your skin. If you support them, they will reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin likewise. However, they get hardly attention in the beauty and cosmetics industry.
Collage is like coiled up springs in the structure under your skin and provides strength and structure to it.
Elastin’s shape is rubber-like, and they are present within your skin. They keep your skin snap back into place after being stretched out. Break down of elastin cause wrinkles and saggy skin.

The hypodermis is the bottom layer of your skin, and it supplies blood to the dermis. To achieve bright skin, you have to make sure that your hypodermis is functioning efficiently.
The hypodermis contains your lymphatic system along with fluids and blood vessels to clarify the lymphatic system is like the sewage system of your body that includes bacteria, damaged cella, and toxins from body tissues.
A disruption in the functioning of the lymphatic system can cause acne, a loss of elasticity, and premature aging of your skin.

The Honey Mask
The mask that proved to be magical for me is my darling honey mask. If you use it, it will remove acne and acne marks as well as add a beautiful shine to your face.
How To Apply
Apply a very thin layer of pure honey on to your face and leave that mask for 3 hours minimum. After 3-4 hours, wash your face with normal water.
How Often You Can Apply A Honey Mask
You can use this mask of honey every day if you have severe acne and dark spots problems. When the dark spots and acne are started decreasing, you can use this mask twice in a week and then once in a week gradually.
The Rice Flour Mask
If you want bright and fair complexion, then rice flour mask is for you. Rice flour mask instantly brighten your face. It is also an antiaging mask.
When I first applied this mask, after washing my face, I was quite surprised because there was shiny fairness on my face. And till now, I’m using that mask.
How To Apply
Take 2-3 tablespoonful of rice flour and add some water into it to make a thick paste. Apply rice flour mask on your face and leave for about an hour, then rinse it with water.
Take 2-3 tablespoonful of rice flour and add a half cup of water in it. Keep this mixture on flame till it becomes a fine and thick paste. Then let this paste cool down for about half-hour.
After the rice flour mask cooled down, apply this on your face evenly and leave for one hour. Wash the face after an hour.
How Often You Should Apply Rice Flour Mask
You should use this mask 2-3 times a week maximum. Don’t apply this mask too often.
You can make rice flour at home very quickly. Just take rice and grind them in your grinders until it becomes flour.Tip
The Egg Mask
Applying egg white on your face lightens your skin tone and reduces dark spots.
How To Apply
Take egg white of an egg and beat it well. Then add 1-2 drops of lemon juice in it. Apply this mixture evenly on your face. Left it till dry. Then wash the face with a face wash.
How Often You Should Apply This Mask
You can apply this mask 2-3 times a week maximum. Using this mask maximum can cause stretchiness and dryness of the skin.
Honey And Lemon Juice Mask
This mask is very easy to make at home with only two ingredients. All you need is lemon and lemon juice, and you will have scars and dark spots free skin.
How To Apply
Take 2 teaspoons of raw honey and ½ teaspoon of lemon juice. Mix well and apply this mixture for 20-30 minutes on to your face. Rinse with fresh water.
How Often You Can Use This
You should use this mask for only 1-2 times a week because lemon is a strong ingredient.
Aloe vera and banana Mask
These marks will help you in getting moisturized and hydrated skin; besides, it treats dry and flaky skin.
How To Apply
Mash a banana in a mixing bowl with the help of a fork/spoon. Add 2 teaspoons of aloe vera gel and mix it well. Then add 2 teaspoons of almond oil in it and mix thoroughly. Apply this mixture in your face for 15 minutes. Rinse it with normal water.
How Often You Can Use This
You can apply this mask easily for 3-4 times a week as it contains aloe vera, which is soothing gel in nature.
Fuller’s Earth/ Multani Mitti Mask For Glowing Skin
Multani Mitti or fuller’s earth is effective in acne because it has oil-absorbing properties, thus boost the healing process. Multani Mitti also removes blackheads and whiteheads from your face.
How To Apply
Take 2 tablespoons of Multani Miiti along with 1 tablespoon of Multani Mitti. Add a pinch of turmeric powder. You can also add a pinch of sandal powder if you want. Then add water in it to make a thick paste. Apply it on your cleansed face until it dry. Rinse with lukewarm water.
How Often You Can Use This
You can use this daily if you want.
Quick Reminders For Glowing Skin
Besides using masks and beauty treatment to get beaming skin, Following are the must remind things that you should do to get a skin you always dreamt of.
- Eat healthily.
- Get enough sleep.
- Remove makeup before hitting your bed.
- Limit the consumption of alcohol and smoking.
- Stay hydrated- at least drink 8-10 glasses of water daily.

You can use a homemade face mask every day, depending upon the ingredients used in it. If the ingredients are mild and suit your skin, you can use it every day definitely.
